Yesterday I woke up and got online. Saw nothing new happening on DA, Facebook and those other sites I visit. So I decided to hit ToonZone's forums, which always serve to kill some time. I saw a thread on the CN forum about Xiaolin Showdown coming back, I thought, "Oh lol another Season 4 rumor thread, haven't seen one in a while, let's click for some lol's!". Well. I didn't get some lol's...

I. Was. Shocked. ACTUAL PROOF that the show is coming back! Tara Strong posted on Twitter information regarding it. I was grinning like an idiot!

Then I read it was to be moved to Canada and to be animated in flash. Plus voices would be replaced with Canadian ones. (Grey will no longer be playing Kimiko, but Jennifer, Katnappe's VA, will take over the role). So..I quickly thought of that popular animated show with Canadian voices and Canadian flash animation.

I let my mind wander a bit..I was shocked at how much the characters from both shows resembled each other. o_o

Twilight's relationship to Celestia and Spike somewhat mirrors Omi's own relationship with Master Fung and Dojo. We've got the high flying loyal friends in Raimundo and Rainbow Dash, the down to earth country folks in AppleJack and Clay and the fashion crazy girls in Kimiko and Rarity.

I had nothing for Pinkie and Fluttershy, and Jack Spicer is basically a staple of Xiaolin Showdown. So I worked with what I had there and then based Fluttershy on a bunny version of Katnappe.
