And that picture is basically what I imagine when I try to fathom how most fans think of a love triangle involving FerrisWheelshipping.

Finished this picture two weeks ago. It was intended to be part of something bigger. With different character reactions to what we see here being added. Things have been happening, and I cannot dedicate the time I want to finish this.

Basically inspired by the idea of "What if Luna could regain the NMM powers, and attempted to control them for the benefit of Equestria, despite their re-use ending in her own downfall?". I can, for some reason, see her doing that. Not caring for her own well being, aslong as it can ensure victory/better outcome for Equestria.

Also, the concept of her struggling to keep control is interesting to me.

Definitely want to see NMM return to the show. Even more so I'd like to see Luna relapse due to some kind of emotional upheaval or something similar to that effect.
You're idea of her trying to control that side of her is also very interesting. It's kind of like the Hulk, except that if Luna loses it the world will be destroyed.

I like to think of her Night Mare powers as kinda what Super Saiyan was originally supposed to be. You know, before little kids started doing it for fun. The absolute final word in unstoppable power, but all that power comes at the expense of her stability, making her at risk for a total self-destructive meltdown.
